Artist Statement:
After getting a degree in art from Hayward state, I began a career hand painting tiles and sculpting relief tiles for 23 years. At that point, I decided to explore different mediums and spent time with acrylics and oils. I fell in love with pastels and have been doing landscapes with them ever since. I love the luminescence of the medium, and the dreamy, magical feel they have.
