Artist Statement:
Nancy Takaichi is an accomplished landscape painter and she works in oils. Her subjects are as varied as the Northern California terrain. She has been juried into several prestigious plein air events, and won Best of Show awards in several noteworthy NorCal shows. She was named an "Emerging artist to watch" by Plein Air Magazine in 2020. The hallmark of her paintings are strong composition, loose brushwork, and a strong sense of light. Nancy will be showing older and recent oil paintings from 8x10 to 14x18, as well as selling her 2027 calendar of her painted landscapes, and notecards.
