Artist Statement:
For most of my adult life I have been painting in oils and watercolor. I have studied privately with several artists and just recently went to the PleinAir Convention in Reno. I have belonged to several art guilds and co-op galleries. I paint realistically and my subjects are landscape, ocean, child and pet portraits.
I'm originally from Chicago but have lived in San Jose and Morgan Hill for over 50 years. I grew up going to the Art Institute in Chicago and have visited many famous art museums.
There is much ugliness in the world, I want to paint the beauty in it and share that with you.
