Artist Statement:
I have been a working artist for over 30 years. I am grateful for the numerous awards my art has won along the way. I joined the daily painting movement in 2006 and this has brought me many collectors, shipping my paintings all over the US and many countries abroad. My inspiration comes from painting the beauty I find in simple everyday things. I paint what I love and I think this is why people connect to it. I have been described as a colorist and I agree because I defiantly love color and the way light reflects and changes it. I hope you can visit my home studio this year. In the past I’ve always participated at other places, this is the first time I will be having it at my home studio in Gilroy.
