Artist Statement:
I have been playing with baskets since the 1980's starting with pine needle baskets. It expanded into working with hard shell gourds and weaving with different reeds and mediums. I have also done some beading, playing with vintage buttons and trying some studio buttons with pine needles. The last few years incorporating Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper into pieces. There is always room to learn new things.
